My Story: Losing My Voice & My Intuition

Through repeated patterns of entering emotionally detached relationships, I slowly began to lose:

  • My voice
  • My belief in myself and not feeling good enough
  • My trust in my values

When your voice is not acknowledged in childhood, it often continues into adulthood.

In my case, that pattern was perpetuated in relationships. Over time, I struggled to interpret my own thoughts, feelings and to voice that with confidence. The words wouldn’t come out.

Through difficult challenges, I stopped trusting my inner knowing. And when you stop trusting your intuition, you disconnect from your compass.  This is where consequences are worse for you, than if you had of listened to your intuition.

That disconnection creates:

  • Life becomes more difficult
  • Self-doubt
  • Overthinking
  • Frustration
  • Anger
  • Irritability

Eventually I realised this wasn’t about “confidence techniques.” It was about patterns. And patterns must be acknowledged, so they do not repeat so subtly in your life.  Acknowledgement means for you, they can be dissolved for good.
